(Our marketing department decided Cranagranate was more marketable!) Why Vitioxidant? This blend, besides being loaded with sweet tones of cranberry (Vaccinium Oxxycoccus) and pomegranate (Punica granatum) layered over the mellow herbaceous character of Rooibos, is also triple-barrel loaded with vitamins and antioxidants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat's right, triple-barrel loaded, (if that is indeed a word.) We'll break it down for you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1: Rosehips have long been associated with high levels of vitamin C and has even been touted for its ability to percent plaque build-up on teeth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2: Cranberries, while the numbers are not quite as high as rosehip, also posses rather good doses of Vitamin C \u0026amp; A. In recent years, studies of both cranberries and rosehips have found them to be high in free radical fighting, antioxidant producing phytonutrients.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3. Place 1tsp of loose Rooibos into an infuser. Lower infuser into your cup\/teapot. Pour boiling water over Rooibos and let steep 3-7mins according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the brew). Bring water to a boil and pour boiling water over the tea. Steep for 5 mins. Add hot tea to a 12oz \/ 375ml glass filled with ice, straining the tea (use larger pitcher if preparing multiple servings).
