Although for the most part, Paris is referred to as "La Ville-Lumi̬re", The City of Lights, it could just as easily be called "La Ville Jardins", The City of Gardens. From one end of the city to the other, Paris is filled with gardens, parks and green spaces of all kinds. Many of the most famous of these were designed and built under the patronage of Emperor Napoleon III, who during the 1800s implemented a large-scale plan to "green" his beloved city. Two of the most beautiful of these are the Parc Montsouris in the 14th arrondissement and the Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the 19th. On any given day, the people of Paris stroll the gardens, spread picnic blankets on the grass or just lie out to catch the warmth of the sun. Trees sway and flowers blossom as the sounds of fountains and children fill the air.
In homage to the legacy of Napoleon III, we've crafted this supremely relaxing blend of high antioxidant green teas and lavender, by many counts the national flower of la France. On the nose, the blend offers hints of sweet grass and deep of floral lavender. In the cup, tones of honey overlap a touch of moss rounded by deep floral overtones - a stunning tea. Paris Green... quite possibly the next best thing to an actual stroll through one of the world's most romantic cities.
More about the teas used to create this blend:
Kapchorua: Certified by the Ethical Tea Partnership and Fair Trade organization, Kapchorua is one of Kenya's premiere estates. Exceptional green teas are produced using Ejulu leaf stock, noted for its sturdy leaf and deep green colour.

Brewing Hot
When preparing by the cup, this tea can be used repeatedly - about 3 times. The secret is to use water that is about 180'F or 90'C. Place about 1-1 1/2 teaspoons in your cup, let the tea steep for about 3 minutes and then begin enjoying a cup of enchantment - do not remove the leaves from the cup.
Brewing Cold
(to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter-fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. [A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.]
