Neither I nor you: \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eBut when the leaves hang trembling, the wind is passing through.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInspired by this poem, we at Metropolitan Tea asked the other question mentioned above, namely who has tasted a rainbow? (Here we should explain that while the protagonist of Roestti's poem clearly relates to the world through touch and sound, we tea-folk relate to the world primarily through our taste buds.) We came up with many different answers. The final, and most profound was this: It tastes like a mellow, herbaceous Cederberg Rooibos blended with a medley of fruit and balanced out with a touch of Amaretto. Simple yet so deep, you know? (For those of you who relate to world visually, rainbows should also have red thistle, cornflowers, and calendula for the colorful look.) So go ahead, ask and ye shall receive. Taste a rainbow today. Place 1tsp of loose Rooibos into an infuser. Lower infuser into your cup\/teapot. Pour boiling water over Rooibos and let steep 3-7mins according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the brew). Bring water to a boil and pour boiling water over the tea. Steep for 5 mins. Add hot tea to a 12oz \/ 375ml glass filled with ice, straining the tea (use larger pitcher if preparing multiple servings).
