Introducing a tea that's best enjoyed au naturel! What else can you say about a blend named after Lady Godiva the 11th century Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who rode naked through Coventry England? Godiva's ride was taken in protest of the taxes her cruel husband had imposed on the town's peasants. Why did she care? Godiva was a lover of the arts. Legend has it that the peasants what with all the tax they were paying weren't able to help pay for public art projects. This Godiva could not abide and decided to do something about it. She asked her husband for a tax reprieve which he said he'd give only if she rode naked through the town. How some will sacrifice for their art!Well with all due respect to the beguiling Ms. Godiva we can confidently say that we've sacrificed nothing for our art - the blending of fine teas - in creating this magnificently rich Rooibos blend quite the opposite in fact. The equally beguiling blend begins with a peak quality Cederberg Rooibos known for its herbaceous character and long smooth finish. To this we added chopped pieces of pure vanilla decadent morsels of cacao bean and peel natural flavoring oils and sunflower petals. The resulting blend is a true stunner. The cup opens with the approachable sweetness of vanilla bean offset by deep notes of chocolate and hints of chopped nuts citrus and orchid. Oh yes we mentioned that this one was best enjoyed au naturel. So if you're feeling adventurous you could order yourself a cup while seated at a cafe in Cap D'agde the nude village in the South of France.
